The south east region serves 3,000 members who work in 850 practices. The region is headed by the elected chairman, and the honorary officers.
The Region has two committees, for marketing and practice. Members sit on the committees. If you are interested in joining, contact Regional Office!
What Regional office does for architects. We also have five
regionally elected RIBA Councillors:
Andrew Clague, Tarsem Flora, Catherine Hennessy, Guy Thompson, and John Wright.
Deals with all marketing activities of the Region to the members, and of the profession to the public and potential clients. Includes overview of Clients Advisory Service; SEARCH newsletter to members; RIBA Awards; Downland Prize for Architects (small projects); operates the Press Service for the Region and for individual practices
Deals with any matter which relates to the practice of architecture. Has responsibility for Continuing Professional Development; Directory of Contractors and Specialists for members; student prizes. Uses 'Practice Matters' section of SEARCH to raise members' awareness of practice and legislative issues.
